Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with evolving regulatory landscapes
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for high-stakes AI deployments
- Lead cross-functional ethics working groups with engineering, legal, and product teams
- Design explainability protocols for complex neural networks and generative models
- Advocate for ethical AI adoption through executive presentations and stakeholder education
- Monitor emerging AI risks and propose proactive mitigation strategies
- Contribute to industry-wide ethics standards through whitepapers and conferences
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, responsible tech, or ethics compliance
- Expertise in bias detection algorithms and fairness metrics for ML systems
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and global regulatory trends
- Proven experience translating ethical principles into technical requirements
- Exceptional communication skills for bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design) preferred
- Published research on algorithmic bias or explainable AI a plus
