Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year AI innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen AI systems (neural networks, quantum ML, AGI frameworks)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (brain-computer interfaces, synthetic biology, quantum AI)
- Translate complex AI concepts into executive-level strategic recommendations
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems and superintelligence
- Collaborate with venture partners to incubate 2026-era startups
- Present findings at global tech summits and publish thought leadership
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 10+ years R&D experience
- Proven track record in developing production-level AI systems (transformers, GANs, RL)
- Expertise in quantum computing fundamentals and quantum machine learning
- Deep understanding of AGI safety, alignment, and ethical AI frameworks
- Experience with futuristic tech forecasting (Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Strong publication record in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML)
- Ability to secure federal grants for frontier AI research
