Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-adjacent AI roadmaps for autonomous systems, biotech integration, and sustainable infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid architectures
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Design ethical frameworks for next-generation autonomous decision-making systems
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Mentor PhD candidates and industry fellows in future-focused research methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications in Nature Futures and IEEE Spectrum
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field with 5+ years in AI research
- Proven track record in developing production-ready ML systems at scale (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Deep expertise in quantum computing principles or neuromorphic architectures
- Published research in top-tier journals (NeurIPS, Science, Nature) on future-facing topics
- Experience with policy advisory boards or technology ethics committees
- Proficiency in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
