Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in next-generation AI architectures (AGI, quantum neural networks)
- Develop novel algorithms for real-time multimodal learning across 10+ data modalities
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, NeurIPS)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research into scalable commercial applications
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates in AI ethics and responsible development
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
- Present findings at global tech summits (World Economic Forum, AI Now Summit)
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers in top-tier AI/ML conferences
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and distributed computing
- Proficiency in PyTorch/TensorFlow with 100M+ parameter model deployment experience
- Demonstrated success in securing federal research grants or industry funding
- Strong background in AI safety, bias mitigation, and ethical AI frameworks
- Experience with quantum computing APIs (IBM Q, D-Wave) or hybrid AI-quantum systems
