Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the comprehensive infrastructure roadmap for 2026, aligning technical capabilities with long-term business goals.
- System Architecture: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, high-availability, and secure cloud-native architectures.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and partner with top-tier technology providers to ensure we leverage the best tools for our strategic vision.
- Disaster Recovery & Security: Develop robust continuity plans and security protocols to protect our assets in an evolving threat landscape.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze infrastructure spend and implement strategies to maximize ROI and operational efficiency.
- Future-Proofing: Conduct POCs (Proof of Concepts) on emerging technologies relevant to the 2026 era.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership or strategic planning capacity.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP); proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of successfully planning and executing multi-year technology roadmaps.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex, large-scale infrastructure challenges.
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
