Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute the long-term AI strategy for Nexus, focusing on autonomous agents and next-gen neural architectures.
- R&D Leadership: Oversee a world-class research team exploring novel approaches in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision.
- Technical Architecture: Design scalable, secure, and ethical AI systems that integrate seamlessly into our core products.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product management and engineering teams to translate high-level research into market-ready features.
- Talent Development: Mentor senior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all AI deployments adhere to strict ethical guidelines and regulatory standards (EU AI Act, etc.).
- Investor Relations: Present technical roadmaps and progress to stakeholders and investors to secure future funding.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or architectural role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), large language models (LLMs), and reinforcement learning.
- Autonomy: Proven track record of building autonomous systems or complex software architectures from scratch.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams through periods of rapid technological change.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Innovation: A strong portfolio of patents or publications in AI research.
