Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Define and oversee the execution of a comprehensive technology strategy designed to position the company as a market leader by 2026.
- Emerging Tech Analysis: Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., Quantum Computing, Advanced AI, Web3) to determine their potential impact on our business.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, universities, and research labs to drive innovation.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of strategists and engineers to execute complex technical visions.
- Resource Allocation: Make critical decisions regarding R&D budget allocation to maximize ROI on future technologies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical strategies to the executive board and board of directors in a clear, compelling manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, strategic planning, or R&D management.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of defining long-term technology roadmaps and successfully executing them.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of AI, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure trends relevant to the 2026 timeframe.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
