Apex Innovation Labs is seeking a visionary Director of Future Technologies (2026 Horizon) to spearhead our long-term strategic roadmap. In this pivotal role, you will not just react to market trends—you will define them. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can peer past 2024 and 2025 to build the technological infrastructure that will power our operations and our clients' success through 2026 and beyond.
You will lead a cross-functional team of futurists, data scientists, and engineers to identify breakthrough technologies, ranging from advanced AI integration to quantum-ready infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the 2026 Strategic Vision, aligning technology roadmaps with business objectives.
- Identify emerging technological trends and assess their feasibility for immediate and long-term implementation.
- Lead R&D initiatives focused on Generative AI, Edge Computing, and Spatial Computing.
- Bridge the gap between technical innovation and executive leadership to secure buy-in for high-risk, high-reward projects.
- Build and mentor a team of strategic foresight analysts.
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis to ensure Apex remains a market leader.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Technology Strategy, Product Management, or Executive Consulting.
- Proven track record of leading multi-million dollar innovation projects.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML architectures, blockchain, and IoT ecosystems.
- Advanced degree (MBA or MSc) in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Studies preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
