Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation and payments are processed accurately.
- Manage the PBX system, answering incoming calls, taking messages, and transferring calls to appropriate departments.
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel facilities, local attractions, and services in a professional and helpful manner.
- Handle guest complaints or issues immediately, escalating to management when necessary to ensure a positive resolution.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Process daily financial transactions, including cash handling and credit card verifications, adhering to all security protocols.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management of lobby supplies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior hospitality experience is preferred.
- Must possess strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a genuine desire to assist guests.
