Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using Opera PMS while maintaining accurate records
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and provide local recommendations 24/7
- Manage cash handling, payment processing, and daily reconciliation
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency situations per protocol
- Process reservations and modifications via phone/email channels
- Prepare end-of-night reports and ensure all procedures are documented
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight shifts
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (parking provided)
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of Louisville attractions and transportation options
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred (training available)
