Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and prioritize emerging technologies, consumer behaviors, and regulatory changes impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and publish annual 'Future Outlook' reports with quantitative forecasts and qualitative scenario analyses
- Architect cross-functional innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, climate tech, and Web3.0 developments
- Facilitate executive workshops to translate foresight into strategic priorities and resource allocation
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, venture labs, and think tanks to access cutting-edge research
- Design and implement early-warning systems for disruptive market forces and competitive threats
- Mentor junior strategists in futures-thinking methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Economics, or related field (MBA/MSc preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning, corporate innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500/tech scale companies
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi, horizon scanning) and scenario planning methodologies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation strategies that drove measurable business impact
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with experience visualizing complex future scenarios for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures research or innovation strategy (white papers, industry journals, conferences)
