Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Infrastructure: Design and implement scalable, high-performance distributed systems tailored for the 2026 technological landscape, including quantum-ready databases and edge computing nodes.
- R&D Leadership: Lead research and development efforts in emerging technologies, specifically exploring the integration of AI, blockchain, and quantum mechanics into core infrastructure.
- System Resilience: Develop robust disaster recovery protocols and security frameworks to ensure 99.999% uptime for critical global systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and hardware engineers to translate abstract futuristic concepts into tangible software architectures.
- Legacy Modernization: Oversee the migration of legacy systems to future-proof architectures, ensuring seamless interoperability with new technologies.
- Talent Mentorship: Guide a team of senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, Rust, Go, and distributed systems (Kubernetes, Docker). Experience with quantum computing libraries is a significant plus.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of defining long-term technical roadmaps and leading teams through complex digital transformations.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve ambiguous, multi-dimensional engineering problems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
