Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Lead the strategic vision for emerging technologies, identifying high-impact opportunities in AI, Quantum, and Edge Computing for the 2026 fiscal year.
- System Architecture: Design and oversee the development of scalable, resilient, and high-performance technical architectures that can handle future computational loads.
- Innovation Evangelism: Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders, securing buy-in for experimental projects and R&D initiatives.
- Talent Development: Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to ensure technical feasibility and business alignment.
- Legacy Modernization: Lead the transition of legacy systems to modern, future-proof stacks to ensure long-term stability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role or as a Principal Engineer.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Futuristic Tech Knowledge: Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, Quantum computing principles, or Blockchain technology is a significant plus.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems with innovative solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical jargon into business value for executive stakeholders.
