Responsibilities
- Lead strategic R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies including quantum computing and AI ethics
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Develop patentable frameworks for next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Partner with academic institutions to forecast emerging tech trends
- Present future roadmaps to C-suite and venture partners
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused methodologies
- Mentor senior technologists in future-proof skill development
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech leadership with 5+ years in future-tech innovation
- Proven track record launching disruptive products post-2020
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or biocomputing
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals preferred
- Fluency in scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or EU Horizon 2030 contacts
