Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic integration
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive industry shifts and regulatory changes
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage cross-functional innovation projects with $10M+ budgets
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term technological ROI and competitive advantage
- Build partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused tech initiatives
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, IoT, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Exceptional analytical and predictive modeling capabilities
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or futurism
