- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to pioneer next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market potential
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with data-backed insights
- Mentor senior technologists on future-proof architecture and sustainable innovation practices
- Oversee the R&D budget allocation for breakthrough technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact on commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, AI ethics, or decentralized systems
- Track record of building and scaling technical teams in high-growth environments
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (e.g., IEEE, Nature journals)
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding from government or private sources
