Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market predictions and sustainability goals
- Architect innovation frameworks for next-gen human-machine interfaces and autonomous systems
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into development roadmaps
- Establish ethical guidelines for AI/deep tech implementation and responsible innovation
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and research teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record of developing future-tech roadmaps (2018-2025+)
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum systems, neuromorphic AI, or bio-integrated tech
- Strategic planning certification or MBA with tech focus preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent tech journals
- Experience scaling tech innovations from concept to market leadership
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Mastery of scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
