Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, biotech interfaces, and neural integration systems
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Architect ethical AI frameworks for autonomous decision-making systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with commercial viability
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $10M+ innovation budgets with ROI-driven allocation models
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience scaling tech teams from 50 to 500+ professionals
- Published research or patents in future tech or AI ethics
- Certified in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successful tech commercialization projects
- Proficiency in scenario planning and predictive analytics tools
