- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging tech opportunities (quantum, AI, Web3)
- Conduct scenario planning for regulatory shifts and ethical implications of breakthrough tech
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present future vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage innovation portfolio with $5M+ annual R&D budget
- Author thought leadership on technological singularity preparedness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in future tech forecasting
- Proven track record in scaling disruptive technologies (quantum/AI/Web3)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Published research on AI ethics or technological singularity
- Experience building innovation ecosystems in Fortune 500 environments
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
