Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen product development
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future-tech vision into business strategy
- Represent company at global tech summits and innovation forums
- Mentor innovation teams and foster future-focused culture
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-facing initiatives (2018-2025)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend forecasting abilities
- Experience scaling tech innovations in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
