Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026-2030, focusing on quantum computing, generative AI, and neurotech integration
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and pilot emerging technologies with $50M+ R&D budget
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive stakeholders quarterly
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with leading tech incubators and research institutions
- Oversee the creation of a future-focused patent portfolio and IP strategy
- Mentor a team of 5+ innovation specialists and junior strategists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in implementing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with specialization in future studies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Assessment preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem and academic institutions
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future trends
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
