Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capital firms and academic research institutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and technology disruption assessments
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget for prototype development and pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles within Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of launching products based on emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Expertise in at least two of these domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
- Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation management
- Experience managing cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals
