- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic research to identify competitive advantages
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with data-driven ROI projections
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with rigorous KPI tracking
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Mentor junior strategists in future technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech foresight
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in technology lifecycle management and innovation frameworks
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive stakeholder experience
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java preferred)
- Security clearance eligibility (for government collaboration projects)
