Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026-2030 commercialization potential
- Design innovation frameworks for ethical AI implementation and sustainable tech adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and global research consortia
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting future technology landscapes
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Proven track record of launching tech products with 3+ years market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, neurotech, or climate tech
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience scaling tech initiatives from concept to $100M+ revenue
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating technology impact assessments and scenario planning
