Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Design ethical frameworks for AI deployment and biotechnology applications
- Partner with C-suite executives to translate tech innovations into business value
- Present strategic insights to investors and industry stakeholders at global forums
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor ecosystems for emerging tech
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with proven 5+ year horizon planning experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar journals
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Successful track record of launching products with 7+ year development cycles
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Assessment
- Experience securing government grants for foundational research
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for international stakeholder engagement
