- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Create detailed innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs and ROI projections
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage technology incubation programs from concept to pilot phase
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, or biotech preferred)
- Expertise in futures forecasting and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and innovation budgets $5M+
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or strategic foresight
- Ability to travel 15-20% for industry conferences and partnership meetings
