Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, biotech) to inform 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concept prototypes for 2026-era applications
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech initiatives into corporate vision and KPIs
- Conduct competitive intelligence on global tech disruptors and patent landscapes
- Develop scalable frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through grant proposals and investor pitches
- Mentor junior futurists and build a high-impact innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching at least two future-tech products to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
