- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present future-tech scenarios to board members and secure $5M+ annual innovation budgets
- Mentor a team of futurists and technical architects in exponential thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with proven disruptive innovation track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or carbon capture
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (IEEE, Nature, or equivalent)
- Experience securing venture funding for futuristic projects exceeding $10M
