Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, bio-convergence, AI autonomy) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and C-suite stakeholders
- Author strategic whitepapers and market analyses for investor and board presentations
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D acceleration
- Define KPIs for technology adoption and ROI on innovation portfolios
- Mentor junior strategists in future-gazing methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or neurotech
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech ROI forecasting
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Horizon Scanning preferred
