- Conduct market analysis to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through compelling investor pitches
- Drive innovation sprints to accelerate proof-of-concept to production timelines
- Mentor junior engineers on futuristic technology implementation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record launching commercialized AI/quantum products
- Expertise in emerging tech standards (e.g., IEEE P2851, ISO/IEC 23859)
- Strong network with academic research labs and venture capital firms
- Published patents or peer-reviewed papers in emerging technologies
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ engineers
