Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, neurotech) and develop strategic adoption roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI ethics, sustainable tech, and human-machine interfaces
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and evaluate bleeding-edge startups for acquisition/partnership
- Develop predictive models for technology disruption impacts across manufacturing, healthcare, and energy sectors
- Create executive-level technology briefings and scenario-planning frameworks for board presentations
- Establish KPIs for innovation pipeline management and track technology maturity curves
- Mentor internal 'futures council' and build external thought leadership through white papers and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Systems Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology forecasting, corporate innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record translating emerging tech trends into commercial strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience building technology roadmaps with multi-year implementation horizons
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, research institutions, Fortune 500)
- Published thought leadership in tech futures or disruption analysis preferred
