Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (quantum, AI ethics, neuro interfaces) and their commercial applications
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-tech innovations into customer solutions
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Monitor global tech policy developments and advise on compliance implications
- Mentor junior strategists and build a future-tech talent pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth startup experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience presenting complex tech concepts to non-technical executives
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry publications
- Certification in emerging technology assessment (e.g., Gartner, IDC) preferred
