Responsibilities
- Lead strategic research in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify market opportunities for 2026
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps with 5-year projections and risk assessments
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future innovations into current development cycles
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external partners
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption success and track implementation progress
- Manage a portfolio of experimental projects with $2M+ annual budgets
- Represent the company at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in technology strategy at Fortune 500 or scaling tech companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., generative AI, AR/VR, sustainable tech)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business strategy
- Certification in emerging technologies or strategic foresight (preferred)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
