Responsibilities

- Identify emerging tech trends (quantum, biotech, neural interfaces) and assess commercial viability
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships and grant applications
- Author patent portfolios and publish in IEEE/Nature journals
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and Board of Directors
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical innovation methodologies
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford HAI on joint ventures
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in tech strategy at Fortune 500 or unicorn startup
- Proven track record securing $5M+ in R&D funding
- Published research in quantum computing or AI ethics
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging tech
