Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps for 2026+ horizon, prioritizing AI integration, quantum applications, and biotech convergence
- Analyze emerging tech trends (Web4, AGI, nanotech) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and secure executive buy-in for high-risk/high-reward initiatives
- Build and manage a network of academic and industry partnerships for early-stage technology access
- Drive adoption of future-proof systems including decentralized infrastructure and ethical AI frameworks
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with 8+ years in strategic technology planning
- Proven track record of launching products/services based on emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and market analysis frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous technological transitions
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems and academic research institutions
- Certifications in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technologies preferred
