Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology adoption roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Architect strategic partnerships with research institutions and startups in emerging tech domains
- Present technology scenarios to executive leadership and board of directors
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technology maturity and ROI
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Produce annual Future Technology Impact Reports for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation management with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching technology ventures with $50M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting frameworks
- Experience securing government grants for R&D initiatives (SBIR, DARPA, etc.)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
