InnovateCorp is seeking a visionary Future Technologies Strategist to architect our technological roadmap for 2026 and beyond. You'll lead cross-functional teams to identify emerging trends, develop long-term innovation frameworks, and transform cutting-edge concepts into scalable solutions. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, strategic foresight, and executive leadership to position InnovateCorp at the forefront of industry disruption.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligning with organizational vision for 2026
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Drive adoption of sustainable tech practices across product lifecycle
- Mentor emerging talent in future technologies through internal programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products post-2020
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum AI, neurotech)
- Executive experience scaling tech teams to 50+ professionals
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Technology
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- Fluency in agile methodologies and DevOps transformation
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
