Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI, robotics) and assess market viability
- Design proof-of-concept frameworks for breakthrough technologies with cross-functional teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors with compelling data narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Create technology roadmaps with 5-year impact projections and risk mitigation plans
- Monitor ethical implications and regulatory landscapes of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term tech roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in technology forecasting and market analysis
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex tech concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD) or equivalent experience
- Experience working with C-suite executives and presenting to boards/investors
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation preferred
