Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026 technology horizons, identifying emerging trends and market disruptions
- Architect next-gen product roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech innovations
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technological investments with ESG and sustainability goals
- Direct cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating futuristic solutions
- Present tech visions to investors and stakeholders, securing $50M+ annual R&D funding
- Establish industry standards for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with 10+ years in tech R&D
- Proven track record in launching category-defining products (e.g., quantum algorithms, AGI frameworks)
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum supremacy, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq) and Python
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants for futuristic initiatives
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ patents in forward-thinking technologies
