Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum AI and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions with Fortune 500 partners
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Architect scalable frameworks for ethical AI deployment and human-machine collaboration
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants through strategic partnerships with DARPA and NSF
- Present findings to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, or bio-tech)
- Expertise in systems thinking and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong portfolio of published research or patented innovations
- Experience securing federal grants and managing R&D budgets >$3M
- Deep knowledge of ethical tech frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
