Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmap with 5-year strategic vision
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, AR/VR) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual budget
- Partner with C-suite on tech-driven business transformation
- Build and mentor future-focused innovation lab (15+ engineers)
- Secure strategic partnerships with leading tech research institutions
- Present tech strategy to board and investors quarterly
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with 5+ at director level
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough tech products
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, etc.)
- Experience managing $10M+ R&D budgets and large technical teams
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MBA
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, papers, keynotes)
