- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3) and assess commercial viability
- Champion innovation through hackathons, R&D partnerships, and startup incubation programs
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation team of 5-8 technologists
- Drive patent portfolios and IP strategy for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, product innovation, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technologies with measurable ROI
- Expertise in futures thinking frameworks (scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and venture capital
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS ML, Google AI)
- Experience scaling teams from concept to enterprise implementation
