Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market predictions and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype emerging tech solutions (quantum, AR/VR, bio-integration)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Architect ethical AI frameworks and sustainable digital infrastructure for future scalability
- Present strategic technology briefings to investors, partners, and board members
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proof development methodologies and tech standards
- Drive patent strategy for emerging IP in next-gen computing and neural interfaces
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, climate tech, or Web3 architecture
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3+ year adoption cycles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 tech publications
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFS or Foresight Institute)
- Experience scaling global tech initiatives across 3+ continents
- Portfolio demonstrating successful commercialization of futuristic technologies
