Responsibilities
- Research and forecast emerging technology trends through 2026+ horizon scanning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum computing, AI governance, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical vision with business objectives
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape assessments for future tech sectors
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in emerging technology frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating future-tech thought leadership
