- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating next-gen solutions into product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and industry disruptors
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their implications on business strategy
- Mentor a team of technology futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on tech innovation
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., from WFS or Foresight Academy)
- Experience presenting to C-suite and boards on strategic technology initiatives
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools and market analysis platforms
