Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify technologies with disruptive potential through 2026
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and market shifts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging technology applications
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven risk/benefit frameworks
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and startups specializing in frontier technologies
- Mentor technology teams in future-proofing methodologies and agile innovation practices
- Author thought leadership content on technology's societal and industrial evolution
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership within tech-forward organizations
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, generative AI, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required; PhD preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Track record of successfully commercializing futuristic technologies
- Certifications in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) highly valued
- Experience building and leading diverse, high-performing innovation teams
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and ethical implications of technological advancement
