Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate next-gen digital products and services
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track ROI of strategic technology investments
- Author thought leadership reports on technological disruption and future-proofing strategies
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and evaluate emerging startups
- Represent the company at global tech summits and industry forecasting forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with 8+ years in strategic tech planning
- Proven track record of launching successful technology initiatives with measurable impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience building technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies or scale-ups
- Certification in strategic innovation management (e.g., CSM, TOGAF, or equivalent)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and venture capital community
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for executive audiences
