Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation labs to prototype next-gen solutions in AI, IoT, and sustainable tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry consortia
- Present technology forecasts and investment recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor a team of 5-7 innovation specialists and technology scouts
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for emerging innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $50M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or Web3
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with tech focus
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., CFTE, FTI) preferred
