Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, biotech convergence) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing disruptive products and services targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning to anticipate technological disruptions
- Develop patent strategies and IP frameworks protecting future innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology implementation and responsible innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation roles
- Proven track record in developing multi-year tech roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience leading cross-continental teams and managing innovation budgets >$10M
- Published thought leadership in technology futures or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools (e.g., scenario modeling, patent analytics)
