Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints for quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Conduct competitive analysis in emerging tech domains (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Present strategic proposals to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ R&D budgets for prototyping next-gen solutions
- Collaborate with patent attorneys to secure intellectual property
- Mentor junior engineers on future-proof development methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or Silicon Valley startups
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotechnology, or climate tech
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Proven track record leading technology transformations ($50M+ impact)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Technology Strategy (CTS) or equivalent
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
